Colley Andrews
Founder | Managing Partner
Mr. Andrews served as Vice-President of Drilling for Chesapeake Operating Inc. where he had been employed in various positions of responsibility from 1990 until his retirement in 2006. Mr. Andrews had been involved in the oil-field service industry prior to his employment with Chesapeake from 1987 thru 1990. Mr. Andrews was employed by Phillips Petroleum from 1977 thru 1987 and following graduation from high school in 1974 was employed for various well service companies and roustabout service companies until his employment began with Phillips.
Nick Andrews
Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Andrews has over 15 years of oil and gas experience, spending most of his career as leader in the oil field services sector, while supporting oil and gas client drilling, completion, and production programs across multiple regions. During his career, Mr. Andrews has been employed as a COO by Crescent Services, as a VP of Business Development at Select Energy Services, and has held management positions at Terracon Engineering, Basin Environmental, and Stronghold Resource Partners. Mr. Andrews holds a B.S. degree in Environmental Science from East Central Oklahoma University.
Brock Knapp
Vice President of Corporate Development
Brock Knapp has been in the oilfield since 1996 starting as a roustabout to rough necking on work-over rigs in West Texas until 2001. Mr. Knapp then joined the United States Army and served honorably earning many military awards and also, being deployed to Iraq in 2005. After returning home, Mr. Knapp gained employment as a Drilling Fluids Engineer for Anchor Drilling fluids working in the high pressures of Western Oklahoma and Louisiana. In 2009 Mr. Knapp became a Drilling Consultant for Sandridge Energy, working in the Mississippi Lime. Mr. Knapp joined Crescent Consulting in June of 2010, taking over as Drilling Superintendent for the project management group. He was soon promoted to VP of Business Development.
Bryan George
Senior Project Manager
Mr. George joined CVM Management, an affiliate of Crescent Consulting, in 2019 to lead the risk mitigation management business unit and provide project management services. Prior to joining CVM Management, Mr. George was a drilling manager for Continental Resources in their Bakken and Red River Assets and was crucial in the development of those assets. Prior to Continental, Mr. George worked as a Staff Drilling Engineer for Sandridge Energy. He has been active in the Bakken and Red River, Permian, East Texas, Utah, and Anadarko Basins. Mr. George received his Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology from Southwestern Oklahoma State University and is currently a candidate for an MBA in Energy at the University of Oklahoma.
Parker Cummings
Senior Project Engineer
Mr. Cummings joined CVM Management, an affiliate of Crescent Consulting, in 2018 and is currently one of our Senior Project Engineers. Mr. Cummings most recently served as Senior Operations Engineer at Echo Energy, where he managed drilling and completion for a multi-rig program in the SCOOP and STACK. Prior to that, he served as a Drilling Engineer at SandRidge Energy, managing multiple rigs in Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas. Mr. Cummings holds a BS degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and has been a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Oklahoma since 2016.
Jeff Nelson
Senior Project Manager
Mr. Nelson has over 40 years of various drilling, production, and completion experience in the Mid-Continent region, offshore Texas, Wyoming, Illinois, Michigan, and California. During his career, Mr. Nelson has been employed as a Field Engineer by Unocal, as a Senior Field Engineer at Mobil, as an independent consultant both domestically and internationally, and has held senior management positions at Ricks Exploration, Chesapeake, SandRidge, and LeNorman Operating. He possesses extensive field experience, working more than half his career as a Rig Supervisor and Field Engineer. Mr. Nelson is a registered, licensed Petroleum Engineer in the State of Oklahoma, holds a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Texas Tech University and a M.B.A. from Oklahoma City University.
Angie Newsom
HR Manager | Executive Account Manager
Mrs. Newsom joined Crescent Consulting in 2007 and has an official title of Executive Account Manager but really, she does it all. Angie's responsibilities grew as Crescent Consulting grew, and her role supports team members in operations as well as team members in the back office all while ensuring our office is running smoothly. Having over twenty years of administrative experience, Mrs. Newsom is an integral part of the Crescent Consulting team, and we are thankful she's been a part of the team for as many years as she has. When she's away from the office, Mrs. Newsom spends time enjoying nature, loving on her fur babies, participating in community charity projects, or traveling the world to explore new places and cultures.
Connie Rogers
Vendor Relations Manager
Serving as our Vendor Relations Manager, Ms. Connie Rogers joined Crescent Consulting in August 2018 and quickly became an integral part of the team. She started her career in oil and gas as a project manager with Beacon Environmental restoring abandoned oil well sites for the Oklahoma Energy Resources Board, and also worked for Chesapeake Energy as a Senior Engineering Technician. Connie has one of the kindest and sweetest demeanors you will find and does an incredible job working with our subcontractors. Connie received her Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science at East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma.
When Connie isn't working, she loves to spend time with family, friends and her beloved fur babies
Kayla Gerdts
Vendor Relations Associate
Mrs. Gerdts joined the team as a Vendor Relations Associate for Crescent Consulting in April 2022. She helps support Tradesmen Direct contractors as well. Kayla grew up around the oilfield with her dad being her biggest influence. He was a salesman & operations manager for different oilfield companies. Kayla started her career in oil and gas as administrator for Schlumberger and worked her way up to Account Management. She received her Bachelor of Science in Finance at University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma.
When Kayla isn't working, she loves to spend time with family, friends, & loves to travel.
Holley Andrews McKay
Vendor Relations Associate
Mrs. Andrews-McKay joined Crescent Consulting as a Vendor Relations Associate in 2018. Holley spent her childhood and teen years in southern Oklahoma and southern Texas where she developed a love for all things oil and gas. She worked in a Chesapeake Energy field office as a teenager and upon graduation from college worked at Devon Energy Corporation in the corporate office. Holley is a huge Oklahoma Sooners fan, enjoys traveling and spending time with her family. Mrs. Andrews-McKay holds B.S. degrees in Economics and Business Administration from The University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma.
Nate Velasquez
IT Manager
Mr. Velasquez joined the team in 2011 and serves as the IT Manager. He supports team members in IT operations in the field and in the back office including job functions of networking, web developer, graphic design and social media, and server and computer support. From 2011 - 2017 he was the IT Manager at Crescent Companies where he oversaw IT operations at over a dozen locations across seven states. In late 2017, with ownership changes in Crescent Companies, Nate determined it was best for him to continue his career with Crescent Consulting when it formed its new ownership group. Prior to joining Crescent, Nate was a communications paratrooper in the United States Army for ten years where he served four tours to Iraq. Nate holds a bachelor's degree in Technical Management and an associate degree in Web Graphic Design from Devry University.
